Scientific and production enterprise OOO NPP “PROEL” (until September 2005 – closed JSC «PROEL») was established in 1992. The core of the staff of the enterprise was formed from the specialists of Association “Dalnaya Svyaz”.
Scientific and production activity of the enterprise is directed on research, development and production in the field of optoelectronics and fiber optics.
The priority direction of activity of the firm is development and production of arc protection devices for the cells of switchgear assemblies in substations 0, 4 - 35 kV. Devices of Family «OVOD» - modern devices of relay protection and automatics, which include the latest achievements of fiber optics and microprocessor technology.
Along with the testing of samples and periodic testing of serial production each manufactured device passes acceptance testing, including climatic environment stability test and mechanical environment stability test.

The modern level of technical equipment of the enterprise, wide experience of work in the military - industrial complex and high qualification of the specialists determine the high quality and reliability of output production.
