The device amounts to a steel Cabinet with the front door. Inside the Cabinet in its upper part there is a subrack made on the basis of a construction of euro Pac PRO series. Blocks included in the device are inserted in the subrack (Fig. 1.3). Blocks are arranged from the left to the right in the following order:
- ten blocks of light detection and testing (BLDT);
- block of the microcontroller (BMC);
- block of the discrete outputs (BDout);
- block of the discrete inputs (BDinput);
- power supply unit (PSU).
Control unit is mounted on the front door and is connected to the BMC via cable with D-SUB end connectors. Controls and indicators are located on the external side of the front door.
Cable glands are installed on the bottom wall of the Cabinet.
Optical cables of fiber-optical sensors are leaded through the cable glands and are connected to the appropriate optical sockets located on the front panel of BLDT.
Connection of external electric circuits with the device is carried out with the help of wires with the cross-sectional area up to 1.5 mm2 running from the circuits and attached to terminal blocks of the device located in the bottom part of the Cabinet. In the same place there is bus grounding of the cable screens running from the electric circuits of relay protection and automatics.
As an option, anti condensation heater can be installed inside the Cabinet.
When this option is selected in the questionnaire the following parts are added into the Cabinet:
- resistor C5-35V-160 360 Ohm;
- auto-switch AC or DC (depending on the type of operating current);
- temperature controller specified STEGO КТО 011;
- assembly parts.
Optionally automatic feed switch of AC or DC can be set (depending on the type of operating current).
Provision is made for the place to install shunt resistors, which are included in parallel to discrete inputs with a view to increase noise immunity.
