The design of the device makes it possible to equip switchgears with protection devices directly at the production plant.
Content of the equipment:
• Control Unit (CU);
• Block of the Light Detection and Testing (BLDT);
• Block of Digital Inputs (BDIn);
• Block of Digital Outputs (BDOut);
• Block of the Rectifier and Voltage Control (BRVC);
• Power Supply Unit (PSU);
• Fiber-optical sensor (FOS).
The device has the basic characteristics similar to "OVOD - MD", differing with their operational capabilities.
Switchgear cells of electric substations of 0.4 - 35 kV
• building block structure in which the failure of any of the blocks does not affect the operation of the others;
• up to 126 basic units (BLDT, BDIn, BDOut) per data bus without repeaters;
• Installation of the device on DIN-rail;
• the ability to easily increase the number of blocks in the section that need expansion without changing the design of the device;
• high noise immunity by using industrial CAN data bus;
• transmission of the event log on the user's PC via the built-port USB;
• Reducing of the FOS length, connecting cables between the executive bodies (over current and under voltage protection) and connecting cables to the drive circuit of the circuit breaker.
